About CEC

At Centro de Estudos da Consciência (Center for Consciousness Studies), or CEC, we research and study human experiences related to consciousness. We explore consciousness projection (out-of-body experiences), altered states of consciousness, clairvoyance, personal development and spirituality.

Our aim is to bring together scientific, philosophical and practical knowledge through courses, workshops and talks that encourage conscious exploration of our inner and outer worlds. We offer tools for self-knowledge to help you understand yourself better, broaden your perception and explore your own nature and role in the universe.

We visited St. Damian Monastery for the first time, for a Festa Junina (a traditional Brazilian June festival) organized by the team. It was a wonderful experience. Everything was done with great care and attention, from the moment we arrived and throughout the entire program, which included the laying on of hands, a very interesting talk, food and drinks, and a fun, delicious June festival! The place is incredible, surrounded by nature and with excellent facilities! Congratulations to the organizers and the whole team of this blessed place!
