Astral projection, also known as consciousness projection or an out-of-body experience, is the natural ability every human being has to perceive themselves beyond the physical body — conscious in subtler dimensions of existence. During projection, consciousness manifests through other vehicles, such as the astral body or the mental body. This makes it possible to observe the spiritual world, reunite with people who are now disincarnated, study and provide spiritual assistance, among other possibilities.

More than a phenomenon, astral projection is an evolutionary tool — a way to deepen our understanding of who we really are and the meaning of life. By developing this practice with lucidity, practitioners move beyond relying solely on faith or dogma and gain direct experience of spiritual reality, becoming researchers of their own consciousness.

At Centro de Estudos da Consciência (Center for Consciousness Studies, or CEC), astral projection is a cornerstone of our work. We study it through logic, ethics and direct experience, drawing on more than 50,000 experiences recorded by Moisés Esagüi, CEC's founder and an internationally recognized authority on the subject.

Astral Projection and Clairvoyance Practice Sessions

Every Friday at 8 p.m. (Brasília time), we hold astral projection and clairvoyance practice sessions at our headquarters, St. Damian Monastery. During these sessions, we study and try out different techniques and approaches to develop these spiritual tools.

These practices are also part of our weekly online meetings in the Members' Area, held every Monday at 8 p.m. (Brasília time) via Google Meet.
