Summary
Fear and tension interfere with everyday life and astral projection: emotional charges can distort perception, and fear that something bad might happen can prevent a person from leaving the body. Tension also manifests in the body and often stems from internal anxiety and discomfort, even without a real threat. Analyzing and writing down fears can help resolve them, although professional help may be needed. In cases of phobia, gradually approaching what is feared can help overcome the fear.

Astral projection encompasses spirituality. To improve our lives, it is important to understand spirituality. We will discuss two fundamental issues: fear and tension. Fear can paralyze our lives, work, intentions, and objectives, while tension torments us constantly and prevents us from living in peace. A calm environment, such as nature, can help reduce tension. The noise level in a large city, on the other hand, can cause stress, affecting our unconscious and emotions. Fear can be a real threat or an emotional difficulty that persists in our daily lives. These fears need to be analyzed and resolved because they can arise at unexpected moments, compromising our capacity for concentration and happiness.
During astral projection, fears can manifest in various ways. If we have a positive imaginative process, we can transform negative experiences into positive ones. Emotional charges, however, can distort this perception, turning even good situations into bad ones. It is fundamental to understand our psychic process. In some people this happens very frequently, especially when trying to perform astral projection. Fear can prevent a person from leaving the body by creating a feeling that something bad may happen. Alfred Hitchcock illustrated how fear of the unknown can be paralyzing: after his father told him he did not know what would happen if he did something his father disliked, Hitchcock spent a hellish day.
Each of us perceives the world differently, and our fears are experienced internally. Some people are not afraid of things that other people fear. It is important to resolve our fears because they can become barriers to our growth. The internal search to understand what causes our fear is essential, and it may be necessary to seek professional help.
Tension is also reflected in our body, and inner dialogues or controlling behaviors are already mechanisms for relieving it. This tension is often unrelated to reality and instead arises from an internal state of anxiety and discomfort. Fear and tension hinder astral projection. Some of these issues can be resolved through effort and will. Writing down your fears can help you visualize and resolve them. Fear is often greater in the emotional sphere than it is in reality.
It is important to understand that reality may present no threats and that fear is often merely emotional. Fear can be overcome by gradually approaching what is feared, as in cases of phobia. Understanding and resolving fears and tensions are fundamental to the practice of astral projection and to personal growth.
