You asked about attacks that we can suffer during astral projection. It is important to understand that, most of the time, we come face to face with what we really are. We find that which we practice and seek, on the spiritual plane as well as on the physical and the emotional. Our physical behavior is reflected in the spiritual; a disorderly life, without principles or respect, does not lead to a good result. What we live here continues on the other side.

Extra-physical attacks can occur when we are involved with low-quality energies. This begins with our behavior: excessive use of profanity, dependence on drugs or alcohol, for example. When we have dependencies, we attract consciousnesses of the same level. It is no use speaking of spirituality without effort to improve. Spiritual attacks happen when we become involved with malice, mistaken beliefs, or the exaltation of power. Believing that a small amount of spiritual knowledge gives us power over others is a mistake.

Astral projection and clairvoyance do not make us superior; continuous effort is needed to improve our behavior. We are on Earth with a physical body at our disposal, and astral projection temporarily frees us from the physical body and its dense energies, providing rest for the astral body. However, if we feed fears, angers, and hurts, this defines who we are. Many times, we confuse neediness and desire with love, but we do not know what true love is. Life is simple: we do good or bad things. The ideal is to seek knowledge in order to connect with better energies, avoiding spiritual attacks.

Spiritual attacks occur when we are involved with negative environments or people. If we frequent raves or nightclubs and use drugs, we will find these energies in astral projection. The overall context of our life influences spiritual experiences. We should not see spirituality as a dark space full of horrible creatures. The spiritual world reflects what we live in the physical. Improving our conditions of coexistence and seeking people disposed toward good helps us to carry out astral projections with discernment.

Spiritual attacks happen in very specific situations; the first attacks we may face always come from people very close to us or, when we put ourselves in the public eye, from people who feel envy, anger, or jealousy. The spiritual world has an emotional part that reflects our histories. Perverse consciousnesses are a minority, and we only encounter them if we are at the same level. We can work to resolve difficulties with emotional consciousnesses.
