Summary
Achieving astral projection can take years and requires continuous effort and determination. Moisés began having more difficulty in adolescence, but developed great will and strength by persisting in his attempts to project every day, even when tired. The advice is to keep trying, because the experience is worth the effort.

Why can I not project? I have been trying for about seven months and I have only managed it once. What I want to understand is why, even though I try every night, I never manage it. I relax, I do techniques with energy, but when I am in the transition state between waking and sleep, I try the separation techniques and end up falling asleep. This is a search, a continuous effort. At first, I did projections easily.
When I entered adolescence, the difficulty increased. However, I made a decision that I consider a good one: after some very good experiences, I decided that I could not lose that. I determined that I would manage to project every day, regardless of my state, my tiredness, or any other condition. I worked to reach that goal and developed a very great will and strength. There were nights when I would spend 3 or 4 hours trying, even though I had to wake up at 5 in the morning to go to work. I was young, in college, and had to manage. It is an effort, a great effort. If we want to be better and to leave this great school of fish that our planet is, we need to show determination and an immense will.
Keep trying. Seven months may seem like a lot, but there are people who take one year, two, three, and there are even accounts of someone who tried for 12 years before managing it. It really is an effort, but when you manage it, it is very much worth it.
