Account 001 - Projection in the Mental Body — YouTube from the CEC Library

On August 15, 1968, a Thursday with a half moon, I was living at 84 Lido Street in Veleiros, in the Santo Amaro area. The street was unpaved, which I thought was wonderful, and there was vegetation in front of the house and to the right. That day, I went to bed at around eleven o'clock at night to relax and try to leave my body. I was alone in the room, which I shared with my brother. Within about five minutes, I felt an intense acceleration of the chakras, followed by a snap that sounded as though the house had split in half. I entered an astral projection, but there was a great deal of noise around me. I believe that I was at a higher level of perception, hearing sounds from a kilometer away. While I remained in that state, I felt as though I were swaying and spinning. Suddenly, everything accelerated again, followed by a loud snap and a whistle, both continuous, with the snap sounding like an echo that remained at the same noise level. It seemed that I was moving between dimensions, and the space of that transition seemed very wide because it kept going.

Then everything calmed down, and absolute silence took over. I felt like a ball of energy, with highly acute perceptions. I saw consciousnesses in a purely energetic place, without physical structures. I could have communicated with them, but they seemed to be taking care of themselves. I floated as though I were in limbo, observing energies and consciousnesses of indescribable colors that our vision cannot perceive. On the horizon, I saw forms that resembled cathedrals, castles, or mountains, but I realized that they were merely energies rising slowly. I could not distinguish shapes clearly because there was no shape. The sensation was one of peace, happiness, and liberation. I spun slowly, as though completing a 360-degree turn, although I could already see everything at the same time, with omnidirectional vision.

As I observed, in a state that seemed like ecstasy and that I think Hindus would call Nirvana, I noticed a very strong and pleasant citrus scent of orange that seemed to fill the space. Soon I began to see images of the place from which the scent originated. It was like looking through a mist while seeing clearly. I saw my neighbor, who lived in a house at the back, about 100 meters away, making preserves from orange peels with great happiness. The perception of the environment and of the consciousnesses around me gave me a feeling of freedom and happiness. I thought: "I will never return to this body, because I am having a moment of absolute happiness." I felt that I should use this experience to help people. I think that this projection in my mental body contributed greatly to my putting that need into practice, to help everyone. I began to perceive more details, such as people passing on the street and a car, all without being in contact with the Earth. My perception gained a very broad scope. I said: "This is endless."

I thought that was the infinite space of love and wondered why I could not have that perception inside the physical body. Then the whistle and noise returned, like a jackhammer. I returned to my astral body, which began to spin. I think I left one level and my astral body did not withstand my entry. I then entered my physical body. The entry was intense, and I sat up in bed feeling slight discomfort. I think it affected me, affected my chakras. I said: "Such a happy experience, and I felt this way." After a few seconds, perhaps a minute, I returned to normal. It was an unforgettable and wonderful experience.
