Summary
Anxiety may occur when inner speed exceeds the pace of physical movements, causing anguish, haste, and a sense that there is not enough time for everything. Sports, medications, and therapies may serve as palliative measures without resolving the root of the problem when a person does not understand their own inner functioning. Understanding this functioning and putting everything in its proper place may help reduce anxiety and bring more calm and balance to life.

What is anxiety? Anxiety is a human factor that deserves attention. Anxiety disorder is well documented in the psychology and psychoanalysis literature. Anxiety may occur when a person's inner speed exceeds their physical movements. This inner acceleration may generate anguish because of the difference in pace and create the feeling that there is not enough time to accomplish everything one wants.
This situation is uncomfortable because it prevents a balanced life. An inner speed compatible with a person's abilities would prevent suffering and illnesses. Today, instability and disorganization may contribute to more illnesses. Anxiety may feel like an extreme acceleration of the emotional mechanism that can overwhelm us. Instead of performing tasks calmly, we feel the need to rush everything. This may prevent us from being ourselves and from doing things with attention and tranquility.
Understanding how we function is essential to understanding the world around us. Anxiety may range from mild to extremely severe and cause suffering. To relieve anxiety, many people turn to sports, swimming, running, or martial arts, which may provide palliative relief. Understanding our inner functioning and putting everything in its proper place may contribute to a happier life. Without this understanding, we may continue using palliative measures, such as medications and therapies, without resolving the root of the problem. Reducing anxiety may contribute to a life with more calm, happiness, and time. We need to move beyond dysfunctional processes, and anxiety is one of them.
