Summary
Desires and emotional conflicts can distort how people speak and listen, so communicating clearly requires self-knowledge and asking questions to confirm understanding. It is necessary to adapt the approach to each person and avoid judgment. Assertive communication combines attentive listening with the respectful expression of feelings and needs, without aggression or passivity. Relationships can also be influenced by the conflicts of disincarnated relatives, who retain their characteristics after death.

Let us talk about communication. The essence of communication is that we speak and listen from the standpoint of who we are. To improve our communication, it is essential that we review ourselves. When we are emotionally resolved, we can communicate clearly, understand others, and convey our ideas.
Until we reach that ideal state, let us reflect on how we can improve our communication. The idea arose from observations of daily life, relationships at home, and relationships with friends. Everyday situations often inspire topics for deeper discussion. I will share an experience that motivated me to address intelligent communication: I was working with someone dear to me and, upon completing the project, realized that this person had understood everything differently. When I asked them to explain their understanding, I noticed that their interpretation was aligned with their personal desires, not with what we had actually discussed. This illustrates how we speak and listen based on who we are and how our emotional conflicts can distort communication.
I ask you: who truly understands themselves? To create effective internal communication, we need to understand our desires, goals, and wishes. Internal disorganization is what prevents clear communication. We speak and listen based on our desires and emotions, which creates noise in communication. People often claim to have heard something that was said, but, when we investigate, we realize that it was what they wanted to hear, not what was actually said. The CEC has 111 recorded lectures, which makes it easy to verify what was said. Listening is influenced by our desires and by the stage of life we are experiencing.
To improve communication, asking questions is fundamental. When we talk, we should confirm whether the other person understood correctly. This does not mean that they do not know how to listen, but that we need to express ourselves clearly. Asking "Did you understand what I mean?" is a valuable habit. Open dialogue and questioning promote growth and healthy relationships. Each time we hear or read something, such as a video or a book, we understand it differently because we are constantly evolving. The experience of rereading works such as "The Little Prince" or "The Prophet," by Khalil Gibran, illustrates how our perception changes over time.
Effective communication requires a conscious effort to ensure that our messages are clear and understood. This involves both self-analysis and a willingness to verify the other person's understanding. People with clairvoyance can perceive, by observing the aura, when someone has not understood something: the aura retracts, indicating a lack of attention or focus. Because most of us do not possess this ability, we need to ask: "Was that clear? Did you understand what I meant?" That is the first rule. The second, perhaps one of the most important, is to recognize that we are all different.
When we talk with someone, we are not talking to ourselves, to our expectations, or to our desires. We are communicating with another person. If we do not step outside ourselves to understand the other person, communication will be full of noise. Some people are more open, while others are more reserved, shy, or reactive. We need to adapt our communication to each person's profile.
Intelligent communication involves thinking about whom we are speaking with. We should consider the path this person travels and how we can relate to them. Relating means seeing the other person and understanding that each person has their own path. Our intelligence lies in finding that path without judging or criticizing. Recently, I traveled with a group, and we ate at the same restaurant every day. One person in the group commented that the waiter was unfriendly. My perception was different: he was simply more reserved and had difficulty communicating. When I spoke with him, I discovered that he was Filipino and had difficulty with the language, which explained his demeanor. This teaches us not to judge shy or reserved people as arrogant or unfriendly.
How do people approach us? Do we impose an image of authority or criticism? We can facilitate communication by making ourselves more approachable. Even within Brazil, there are significant cultural differences. We need to see others without criticism. We are different and belong to different families, which influences our relationships. After we become disincarnated, most of our family remains nearby. This means that, when communicating, we should consider that relatives who are disincarnated may also be listening. Knowing the family group and the beliefs of those around us helps improve communication and reduce noise in relationships.
Moisés visited a friend's home and, upon arriving, perceived that the couple was facing a serious relationship problem. He saw not only the couple, but also several family members who had already become disincarnated. These entities were arguing and fighting, creating a commotion that the couple unconsciously picked up on, resulting in conflicts. Without revealing that he could see the disincarnated, Moisés began talking about acceptance and nonjudgment, pacifying the environment. The spirits began listening to him and changing their attitude, realizing that they were getting in the way.
This experience illustrates the importance of understanding that, even after death, people retain their characteristics and may influence the living. When we talk with someone, it is important to explain things well and use intuition to perceive whether the person understood, since we do not always have acute clairvoyance. Communication is often harmed by lies, and it is essential to remember that disincarnated groups may be aware of our actions. Behavior change is necessary for us to evolve spiritually. It is important to lower our defenses when communicating, avoiding judgments and criticism. An everyday example illustrates this: instead of judging, we should ask and understand the situation before reacting.
Assertive communication is fundamental. We should express our feelings and needs clearly and respectfully, without aggression or passivity. This requires self-knowledge and personal growth. Assertiveness is the path of the heart, allowing us to communicate in a truthful and evolved way. In addition, it is crucial to listen to the other person attentively, without rushing, and to reflect on what we want to communicate, especially in posts. The energy we emit when communicating can influence others and ourselves. When we sense an imbalance at home, we can perform the exteriorization of energy into the environment and seek spiritual assistance to balance the energies.
