Summary

Emotional charges underlie illnesses and block energy circulation, affecting the physical body. Addressing emotions through therapy or self-analysis and cultivating gratitude, a subtle feeling from the heart chakra, contribute to healing. This involves recognizing and interrupting automatic emotional reactions to give thanks. With persistence, gratitude changes the energy pattern, drives away harasser consciousnesses, and opens the chakras to the work of spiritual helpers. Recording reasons for gratitude daily and writing a thank-you letter, even to someone deceased, help develop this feeling. The practice extends to difficult situations, deepening understanding and acceptance of people and life.

The healing power of gratitude is related to the emotional origin of illnesses and to how gratitude fits into the healing process. Spiritually and energetically, there is a significant relationship between our emotions and our physical body. From birth, we are not naturally wise in dealing with life and relationships. Many uncomfortable emotions emerge in these interactions: anger, irritation, bad moods, fear, envy, jealousy, sadness, shame, guilt, disgust, indignation, and frustration. We also experience joy, love, fondness, kindness, calm, and affection. Emotions and feelings mix in our daily lives depending on the situations.

We face situations that awaken these emotions. For example, when we are late because of a traffic jam, we feel anxiety and irritation. At work, challenges with colleagues and bosses are common. In our love lives, hurts and needs for affection arise. Anxiety and depression are related to the production of energies by our chakras. The base, spleen, and navel chakras are responsible for denser energies associated with emotions. When we feel anger and irritation, we produce dense energies that circulate with difficulty, causing blocks and stagnation. The functioning of our physical body depends on these energies and on the channels through which they circulate, known as nadis or meridians.

Emotional processes are the origin of illnesses. Even children may manifest illnesses because of emotional charges from past lives. If we do not conduct a deep and sincere self-evaluation, we may have the false impression that negative emotions appear only occasionally. However, if we pay attention, we will realize that in every action there is a touch of anxiety, displeasure, irritation, and nonacceptance.

Moisés Esagüi presented an important concept: if we feel anger, it is not only at specific moments. We are anger; it is our way of functioning, reflecting the work we do with our emotional chakras. Emotional difficulties are the origin of our illnesses. We can face them with psychoanalytic therapy, psychological therapy, psychotherapy, self-analysis, as well as traditional and complementary medicine.

Caring for the emotional part is crucial, whether through therapy or self-analysis. A professional can help us see what we cannot see alone because we live on autopilot, avoiding situations and people without deeply understanding why. A therapist, psychologist, or psychoanalyst can help us see what we do not see or do not want to see on our own.

Goiter, for example, is an alteration of the thyroid, but from an energetic and spiritual standpoint, every illness has an emotional origin. Dietary issues also have an influence, but there are alterations in the laryngeal chakra. People with problems in this region have difficulty expressing feelings and thoughts, saying "no" or "yes." Difficulty expressing oneself, especially feelings and emotions, is complex. The problem begins in the base chakra but can manifest in the laryngeal chakra.

Gratitude is a feeling that we believe we practice, but we often do so automatically. Few of us truly stop to feel gratitude sincerely. When practicing gratitude, we realize that it is not as automatic as we think. Gratitude is a feeling, different from the dense energies of the base chakra. The difference between emotion and feeling lies in subtlety and frequency: feelings are more subtle energies produced by the heart chakra; emotions are dense energies. Working with subtle energies, such as gratitude, can change our energy pattern.

At first, we usually give thanks automatically. The proposed work is to face everyday situations that bring irritation, anxiety, anger, hurt, and sadness and transform them into opportunities to practice gratitude. This change in the energy pattern transforms our energetic configuration. When coming into contact with a situation, it is important to replace the automatic reaction with gratitude. For example, if someone cuts you off in traffic, instead of reacting with anger, try to recognize the emotion and give thanks. The first step is to recognize that you had an emotional reaction and interrupt that process at that moment. By perceiving the anger and interrupting the process, you prevent this negative energy from continuing to accumulate.

This change affects the production of stress hormones, such as adrenaline and cortisol, and neurotransmitters such as dopamine and serotonin, which influence mood and may be associated with depression. The energy body, especially the etheric double, which houses the chakras, may have its energy circulation impaired by these emotions. Blocks and frequency failures in the chakras may occur, showing the interconnection between the energetic and physical parts of the body. Hormone production and the functioning of DNA, glands, and organs are all interconnected. Epigenetics shows that our genes can express health or illness, influenced by factors such as food, exercise, thoughts, and emotions.

The emotional state can attract spiritual consciousnesses that share the same energy pattern. Chronic emotions, such as anger or sadness, can bring closer spiritual consciousnesses that resonate with these energies, increasing the occurrence of accidents. For this reason, changing the energy pattern is crucial to attracting more helper consciousnesses and driving away harassers.

Addictions, such as drinking, smoking, or compulsive eating, are connected to emotional neediness. By changing the energy pattern through gratitude, it is possible to drive away spiritual consciousnesses that feed on these energies. Changing the energy pattern is an important step toward driving them away and strengthening the will to overcome addiction.

Being aware of one's emotions and having the will to change this pattern is a great beginning. We can try to identify concrete reasons in our lives to be grateful. At first, we make an effort to give thanks, but over time gratitude becomes part of us. When we begin working with gratitude, we start operating with this energy until we become gratitude and our energy pattern becomes more subtle. This change alters our energy pattern and our spiritual companions. When we are anger, we attract angry companions, which intensifies our anger and traps us in a vicious cycle. This cycle can be broken by working with gratitude.

With willpower, we can decide to experience and feel the subtle energy of gratitude. By persisting, the usual spiritual harassment gradually recedes, and we feel as though a weight has been lifted from our backs. Working with the energy of gratitude allows spiritual helpers to act in healing. When we work with gratitude, we open our chakras and become receptive to the work of spiritual helpers, unblocking our energy channels and chakras.

For most of us, illnesses result from our emotional charges, whether from this life or past lives. The stress of modern life can lead to an excessive release of cortisol. Learning to give thanks and understand its meaning is an evolutionary path. Working with more subtle energy frequencies, such as those of the heart chakra, is part of this path. There is research showing that gratitude exercises improve depression and reduce the need for antidepressants.

I propose that you begin writing down three things for which you are grateful today. Try to repeat this action daily. If you cannot find three things for which to give thanks now, you will certainly find one. Moisés told an interesting story about his brother, Isaac. When they were teenagers, as I recall, his brother was gravely ill and had been given up on by doctors. He then decided to begin giving thanks and donating energy through the laying on of hands. He went to the cancer hospital and, beforehand, gave thanks for everything: for the tooth he had to brush, for his body, and for his life. After some time, apparently without treatment, when the tests were repeated, the symptoms and the disease had disappeared.

Another transformative exercise is writing a letter of thanks to someone, whether that person is alive or deceased, or someone you will never meet again. The important thing is to come into contact with this feeling and write the letter. This can bring well-being and benefits. Scientific studies show that even if the person is deceased, writing a letter of thanks has great value. After practicing these exercises, you can begin giving thanks for bad things that happen, for people and situations you do not like. This changes our pattern. Understanding and accepting people, life, and situations more fully transforms our perspective and the way we relate to everything. This brings a new level of healing.
