Summary

We should make the most of life to create and seek happiness within ourselves, without complaining or seeing ourselves as victims. Knowledge improves our inner life and, consequently, our outer life, freeing us from the suffering caused by ignorance. When we face difficulties with courage and resolve, we can count on the help of spiritual helpers. We are the ones who create idols, geniuses, gurus, and masters, and each person can do much more than they do.

I am going to take my walk in this place, which I consider the result of a great deal of light, willpower, and work. I believe that life should be used to build rather than destroy and do evil—which is the easier path. Creating environments of happiness is possible; if someone has not found happiness, it is because they have not looked for it within themselves. We need to stop complaining and seeing ourselves as victims.

As we increase our knowledge, we improve our inner life and, consequently, our outer life. Regardless of the difficulties, we must face life with intensity and happiness. If there are stones along the way, use them to build something. Difficulties should be a reason for us to use all our strength, energy, courage, and determination, affirming that we will succeed. I believe that, when we do this, our spiritual helpers help us, even though we are often unaware of their presence. Consciousness and knowledge free us from the suffering caused by ignorance.

I am working. Whenever we bring something about with a positive intention and the result is positive, we are working for good. This world is made of lights, and extinguishing them—especially within ourselves—is not a good idea. We must continue; one day we will realize that we have done very good things. We are adjusting a reservoir that we built, holding one million liters of water, to irrigate the orchard and the vegetable garden. We want this structure to grow out into the world, so that people take part, get their hands dirty, and discover that this construction belongs to everyone. None of us has ideas so brilliant as to become a genius. If anyone thinks that way, one day they will realize that it is we who create idols, geniuses, gurus, and masters, and that each of us can do much more than we do.
