On October 25, 1963, I prepared for an astral projection experience. I lay down at 7:30 p.m., repeating the same time, sheet, pillowcase, clothing, and food from the previous day in an attempt to recreate the conditions that had given me a successful experience. I believed that keeping all the variables constant would allow me to achieve a similar or even better result.

After the first projection, I continued repeating the process over the following days, and the results became more consistent. That night, I hoped to reach an exceptional state of lucidity again. Lying down, I began to breathe gently and soon heard murmurs and loud voices, as though at a fish market. I heard the sound of something falling into water and felt intense heat, followed by a cold sensation that overcame me. My astral body was warm, while my physical body remained cold.

Images of people blended together in great confusion. The water became increasingly clear, and I saw myself submerged in blue-violet hues, with stones, pebbles, and several plants. There was an intense luminosity in my energy body that pulsed in rhythm with my heart, whose beats were slow and steady. The experience was enriching, as though the energy of the water were an effervescent tablet.

It was like being submerged in a glass with Alka-Seltzer. I slowly began to emerge from the water while seeing images of the river, my physical body, and a past life. I floated over the city, observing the river and my physical body without fragmentation. Everything happened simultaneously. I had absolute control of my astral vehicle and rose slowly, perceiving everything around me with ecstatic clarity.

With three simultaneous perceptions, I expressed endless gratitude for what was happening. I followed the river's course toward a mountain, passing a place that resembled a farm. When I looked back, I saw a large fort, which, when I investigated it later, allowed me other memories and experiences. I continued above the mountain, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to see all of it. I smelled the strong scent of cypresses and perceived the wind moving the tree. I tried to feel the wind, grateful to be there. My chest expanded, and I felt intense heat. I felt myself in my physical body, but in fact I was above it, observing from above near the ceiling until I returned to my physical base after a snap. My first impulse was to express gratitude. I took notes, wishing to have more experiences like this one there. It was a wonderful experience.
