Summary

Thoughts, feelings, and behaviors attract spirits of a similar nature. Negative inner dialogue, anger, and thoughts of revenge attract more unhappiness. We also bring harassers and obsessing spirits from past lives with us as a consequence of our actions. During sleep, the astral body separates from the physical body, and contact with harassers causes a person to wake up tired, in pain, and with poor concentration. Auric coupling transfers energy, and being around people whose energies are out of balance reduces vitality. Forgiving, engaging in dialogue, cultivating healthy thoughts and feelings, and learning to work with energies help us deal with these influences.

The person asks: if you sleep near someone who is not well, is full of conflicts, has depression and emotional difficulties, and has unresolved issues, does that cause any energetic harm? When we are near another person, what we call auric coupling occurs: your aura tends to touch the other person's aura, and there is a transfer of energy.

Let us suppose that you are very happy, cheerful, and vitalized, and you approach a devitalized person. The tendency is for the devitalized person to feel better and for you to feel a little worse. Turning this into a mathematical equation, imagine that you have a vitality of 10 and the other person has 5; after staying near that person for a while, the sum of the two vitality levels would be fifteen. Each person would end up with seven and a half; the previously devitalized person would feel very good and admire you. The result is that you would not consider it advantageous to remain near that person, and we would then say that this person vampirized your energies.

Everything in the universe tends toward balance, and among the basic things in the entire universe are the energies that exist within it. These energies tend to balance themselves. When you are near an unbalanced person, you will compensate for these energies to balance the environment; in other words, you will lose energy. If you sleep next to someone whose behaviors are entirely negative and who is energetically unbalanced—imagine that this person drinks, smokes, is always nervous, is aggressive, very passive, or depressed—this will cause you to experience all the energies that person generates; the energies will in fact affect you. Therefore, if you ask me whether there is any harm, the answer is yes, certainly.

We should seek to live with healthy people. If you live with people who are not very healthy, you will become unwell. Consider, for example, people who work in settings that are unbalanced by nature, where there is a great deal of suffering and emotional difficulty. When you work in one of these places, you tend to develop depression. In some institutions, people who care for patients with mental or emotional problems in general end up eating too much, gaining weight, becoming obese and depressed, and experiencing a great deal of conflict in their own homes and families.

Why? Because they are involved with a kind of energy that is depleted and unhealthy; they lose a great deal of energy and try to compensate by eating too much. There is also the difficulty of the spirits that accompany people who are not well. If you are not well, the spirits beside you are certainly not spirits of light; they are consciousnesses with a level of difficulty more or less equal to yours. It is a great mistake to think that we are doing very poorly while luminous spirits remain near us. No. When we are accompanied by spiritual helpers and spirits of light, we are highly vitalized, smiling, happy, very eager to do things, and highly motivated. That is the reality.

We cannot try to create convenient forms of logic to explain situations we are unable to handle. Is there any harm? Yes, there is. And how do we attract lower spirits? What is near each one of us is what we are. Look at how simple that answer is. Your thoughts and feelings, your emotions, and your behaviors are extremely important for you to be on, or belong to, a happier path. This is extremely important.

When you have bad thoughts and do wrong things, you can be certain that the spirits you attract will be of the same quality. We do not make mistakes and attract good things into our lives. You may even think that we do, but everything has its time. So you also need to look at what you are doing. Thoughts of very poor quality arise when a person spends all their time in negative inner dialogue, thinking destructive thoughts and thoughts of revenge. We remain there thinking about how to destroy the other person and how to carry out our anger with maximum efficiency because we are irritated with them after not having the courage to assert ourselves in a situation or say what we felt. We become angry with the other person and then repeat to ourselves everything that should have been said to them.

Think about this so that you can stop being an angry person, full of resentment and anger, because this will attract more unhappiness to you. A carefree person who tries to forgive others, leaving matters on a calmer footing, will live more happily. People make mistakes; when someone makes a mistake, it is sometimes because they do not know. They may err out of malice, but most err out of ignorance. If someone is said to be selfish, it is because they are ignorant. Most of the time, we err out of ignorance, because if we knew what happens on the spiritual plane when we do something bad to another person, even in thought, we would not do it. We must stop judging others and do good.

Coherently, with common sense and maturity, because this is the path to happiness, we should ask ourselves: how do we attract lower spirits? Through what we are, the things we do, what we nourish daily, our thoughts, ideas, and activities. Therefore, engage in happy and positive activities. Do not remain angry with the other person; talk. When there is something to resolve with someone, go to them, engage in dialogue, resolve it, and express yourself. Put your feelings into what you are doing, because this is very important, since we often act believing that our attitudes do not have negative consequences.

Do we bring harassers and obsessor spirits from other lives? You are the heir to what you do, to everything you do in every life. When we do something to someone, imagine the following: when you physically offend a person, they have relatives, spiritual friends, and countless spirits observing what is happening. On your side, there are also countless spirits that do not agree with negative attitudes; therefore, as you accumulate such attitudes, some spirit that does not accept them opposes you.

When people who appreciate what I develop are near me, the spirits praise the work; some spirits ask questions, come closer, and make the environment pleasant. Others, even if they like me or spend time with me, do not approve of certain attitudes I have taken. Or they think, for example: "You should not have done that" or "You should not have said that." Often, when I suggest that a person adopt a calmer discipline and forgive, they cannot. The spirits near that person become very angry with me and utter every kind of profanity; it is even unpleasant to say this, but they use the worst insults and aggression one can imagine. Some manifest as though they were physical. This happens.

When someone asks what I do, I explain that when I perceive an extra-physical confrontation, I try to elevate my thoughts, circulate my energies, and reverberate my chakras to create psychic self-defense, something everyone can learn. Some people truly feel and report, "I feel something touch me; I hear the person speak aggressive words or profanity and disagree," which is very bad. Sometimes, while I watch TV, I feel someone sitting beside me on the couch.

Lying in bed, for example. Some people listening to us now know that this is true. We need to stop treating only our physical life as the limit and begin to understand that our existence is multidimensional. We came here from the spiritual world; our origin is spiritual. Yes, we bring harassers and obsessor spirits from other lives, and we are very good at mistreating others, are we not? Imagine the people of the Inquisition one or two hundred years ago, who regarded themselves as wonderful and ordered people to be beheaded, burned, and tortured. Humanity still has not learned; it takes a long time to understand this reality.

When these people return deformed, with physical and sensory difficulties—such as blindness, hearing loss, or heart impairments of every kind—it is necessary to study spirituality more. We are our own heirs, and nothing happens by chance; we produce things in the body, in life, and in the spirit according to our actions. Often, it is not necessary to do something wrong to generate a spiritual deformity; simply working too much or living with very ill people can cause negative consequences. Nevertheless, decades or centuries ago, we already made many mistakes. Human beings are prone to this behavior.

So we do bring harassers and obsessor spirits with us. When this happens, your life becomes very difficult because you feel these presences. Consciousnesses that have not reincarnated for 100 to 200 years normally carry a very large charge and a great deal of somatization, capable of producing physical effects and other symptoms. Fortunately, this does not occur frequently; otherwise, it would be even more difficult.

But can lower spirits interfere with dreams? In fact, those who have seen the film The Sixth Sense may remember a moment when the little boy says, "I know," addressing the psychologist who was caring for him and did not know that he was dead. He did not know he was dead; he cared for the boy as though he were alive, although he had been murdered. The boy tells him, "I know how you can talk to your wife in dreams." Exactly, because when you lie down, your astral body separates from the physical body and you gain access to the spiritual world, to your origin. At that moment, you may have contact with all your deceased relatives and with spiritual helpers, but also with harassers.

If you have contact with spiritual harassers, look at what happens: you wake up tired, as though you had been beaten, with back pain and a headache so severe that you cannot cope; you lose concentration. It is important to pay attention because this can attract unwanted companions. So can lower spirits interfere with dreams? Yes, they can. To address this, you must gain more knowledge, learn to work with energies, and lead a healthier life in your thoughts and feelings—studying laying on of hands, chakras, the aura, spirits, and clairvoyance.
