Summary

Energetic dimensions differ in density, from the physical to the mental body, through the etheric double, Psychosoma, and golden double, which connects the astral and mental bodies. Consciousness is an energetic organization that assimilates information and manifests through these vehicles. Astral lucidity depends on the percentage of consciousness present and personal work in the physical world; emotions, fears, and beliefs undermine it. In the mental body, perception is broad, instantaneous, and nonlinear. Internal organization supports maturity, learning, and a clearer understanding of the world.

Astral projection is one of the most sought-after topics, and research into this activity led to the founding of the Center for Consciousness Studies (CEC). I will address energetic dimensions and the vehicles of manifestation of consciousness. Energetic dimensions refer to different densities. We begin with physical density: the physical body is dense and palpable, and we are in an environment that we consider solid. The wind, for example, is not solid; we can pass through it. A human body, a stone, a wall, or a tree, however, are obstacles that we cannot pass through freely. This is the dimension we consider dense and solid.

If we explore the densities, we will discover the etheric double, a vehicle that remains attached to us and extends about two centimeters beyond the body. It is visible in shaded locations where there is a contrast of light. The etheric double is more subtle than the physical body but still visible. After the etheric double, we encounter the dimension of the astrosoma or psychosoma, also called the spirit. The terminology varies, but what is important is understanding what they are, without disputes over labels. This dimension is more subtle and is not physically visible.

Moving forward, we have the dimension of the golden double, which connects the astral body to the mental body and is even more subtle. In terms of density, a physical body weighing 60 kilograms would have 5,000 times less density at the level of the psychosoma. In the mental body, the density would be 40,000 to 100,000 times lower. Although this information is not absolute, it helps illustrate the differences.

The more evolved the being, the more subtle it is. This brings us to the capacity to perceive dimensions beyond the physical body. In the physical body, we cannot see everything around us. Try standing in a quiet place and notice the noises, sounds, lights, and movements: you will see more than you normally perceive. When using the astral body, consciousness—which is not bound to the spirit or the physical body—is an energetic organization capable of assimilating and organizing information without increasing in size. Consciousness is not an entity that grows with more information; it organizes itself and incorporates new data.

Human consciousness is a sophisticated technology that can manifest in both the physical and astral bodies. When we are in the astral body, our perception depends on the percentage of consciousness present in that vehicle. For example, with 30% perception in the astral body, we may have fragmented dreams and images that alternate between clear and blurry. Our emotions, fears, and beliefs undermine this lucidity, which is connected to the personal work we perform in the physical world, where we have room to evolve.

The manifestation of consciousness can occur in various dimensions: the physical, astral, and mental bodies. Some people mention vehicles beyond the mental body, but my experience is limited to the astral and mental bodies. With 100% consciousness in the astral body, we can see the environment clearly and perform extraordinary feats, such as materializations. Nevertheless, we often fail to notice the wonderful moments around us while waiting for something spectacular.

In the mental body, perception is broad and instantaneous, making it possible to absorb information in a nonlinear way, unlike the physical body, where everything is sequential. In the spiritual body, perception is faster and free from physical limitations. Experience in the mental body is even more expansive, making profound and immediate understanding possible. Internal organization is essential for personal growth. The more organized we are, the more mature we become, avoiding regression to primitive stages of life. The effort to become organized is worthwhile because it expands our capacity for learning and our clarity about the world around us. Internal organization is reflected in the external world, allowing us to make better use of our experiences.
