Summary
Men and women have different energetic rhythms, and how long a relationship lasts depends on the chakras it remains in. Masks and rules limit spontaneity. Neediness cannot be resolved by partners and can attract spiritual harassers. A healthy relationship combines the freedom to be who you are, mutual help, shared goals, and the resolution of differences without aggression. Building something together, with a sense of direction and no final goal, keeps the relationship alive. The spiritual dimension, the foundation of physical existence, makes it possible to expand life beyond physical limits and the grief that persists even after death.

This is the second day addressing healthy sexuality and spirituality. The focus is to clarify the relationship between man and woman from the spiritual perspective. The energetic constitution of a man is different from that of a woman. The impulses and the acceleration of the male base chakra are much faster, possibly because of a natural need for procreation. The woman, in turn, has a slower process, which has become even slower because of social factors that format relationships—as in marriage, where spontaneity and intimacy are lost.
It is essential to have freedom in the relationship, to be able to be who we really are. However, most people present themselves as the other person wants to see them. The man, with the acceleration of the base chakra, tends to use more masks in order to satisfy his needs. If the woman perceives that the man is interesting, she will also use masks to seduce him and keep him interested: she gets herself ready, chooses attractive clothes, asks the man about his preferences, and adapts in order to be seen as interesting.
The woman's base chakra is slower, and she will hardly be sexually exacerbated unless she has been trained for that. Women more oriented toward sexuality are found in hot regions, where the base chakra opens up more, as at beaches. In cold places, women tend to be more reserved and to create more rules. The man, on the other hand, has strong instinctive reactions, regardless of the climate.
To understand what a healthy relationship is, one has to consider the evolution of the chakras. If the relationship begins and remains in the base chakra, it lasts from a year and a half to two years. In the spleen chakra, it can last from two to three years; in the navel chakra, about four years. Most relationships are sustained by rules, not by common sense or by a desire to build something together. People often get used to it and believe that this is the way, but they end up formatting the relationship.
A healthy relationship is one in which both people help each other, have common goals, and resolve dissonances without aggression. To achieve this, knowledge is necessary. Otherwise, neediness—which can be immense—leads people to look for partners to fill an emotional void, but that does not resolve anything. This neediness can attract spiritual harassers and result in panic, syndromes, and depression.
With this knowledge, it is important to look for someone without being dominated by desires and neediness, allowing the relationship to happen naturally. Since most people are not at that level of consciousness, it is necessary to hold back and look for someone who is really worthwhile. Talking about building something together, without a final goal but with a direction, is essential so that the path has no end and the relationship stays alive, benefiting not only the couple but everyone around them.
Finding someone who is really worthwhile is a challenge. As a spiritualist, I perceive that our physical limits also restrict our relationships. They are not limited only by neediness, but also by intense grief. When someone departs, the other person is left in grief, and even after death that feeling persists. This is not healthy. We should use all the dimensions we understand. The spiritual dimension is a space where we can build a broader, healthier, and happier life. It is the foundation of our physical existence. After all, we all came from the spiritual plane. Our origin is spiritual, and not the other way around—where a body meets a spirit by chance.
We should follow a path of common sense in order to create a space of harmony and happiness for ourselves and for the world. It is essential to see the man-woman relationship in a healthy way, beyond mere procreation.
