Summary
We capture energy through the chakras and exteriorize it combined with our emotional characteristics. Neediness leads to vampirism, which intensifies with envy and causes fatigue in those who lose energy. Crowded places or those marked by suffering have dense energies, while clean places with vegetation, water, and few people replenish us with immanent energy. Immanent energy is subtle and is not encoded by human thoughts and emotions. Diet also affects energy density: meat and fat are associated with the base chakra, and vegetables with the higher chakras. Subtler energies circulate better and promote health; a diet consisting only of vegetables brings a greater sense of lightness.

Today's topic is energetic processes. Many people say that feeling envy is not good because it holds the other person's life back. The listener asks, "I wanted to understand what happens energetically when someone feels envy, and what occurs?" We absorb and exteriorize energy all the time. That is exactly what we are: absorbers and exteriorizers of energy. You absorb energy through the chakras. We have large, medium, and small chakras; they come in countless sizes. All our joints have chakras—every joint in the body has a chakra.
If the environment contains immanent energy, for example, and you are in a place with a great deal of vegetation, you will absorb much purer energy that has not been encoded by our thoughts or emotions. But if you are in a turbulent place with many people and a lot of noise, the environment already becomes problematic. You will absorb not only immanent energy but also the energy emanated by all those people, and you will exteriorize those energies together with your emotional characteristics. Thus, you only worsen the quality of the energy according to your emotional context.
Some people are much greater energy vampires because they are needy. A needy person is a vampire of the highest order. Why? Because that person needs energy. Certain things are missing that the person cannot supply, so they begin absorbing energy from everywhere. This type of person also has the habit of talking too much, all the time, because this is a technique they did not learn from anyone but rather an instinctive device for taking someone else's energy. The person talks and talks while taking energy; the other person yawns, gets watery eyes, feels a headache and back pain, and bends over like a fishhook. The person often thinks, "Wow, I got tired." No, you are being drained.
It is a good idea to notice, when you are near someone, who takes your energy and who does not. You will have people who take energy, people who are neutral, and those who donate it. But a person who feels envy steals energy; that person is an energy thief who intensifies this through that kind of emotion. The other person is struck, becomes the target, and begins losing energy without really knowing why things are happening to them. When you lose a great deal of energy, you experience difficulties; you cannot replenish it quickly, especially because energy theft by an envious person is high-grade vampirization. The person feels envy, and that envy causes the other's energy level to begin falling.
To understand this better, suppose you are fully vitalized and have an energy level of 10, while the person beside you has a level of 5. If that person stays near you, after a while you will both have 7.5, and you will have lost energy. You will say that you became tired while with that person, while they will say that being near the other person feels good. Why? Because they stole the energy and felt better.
When we talk about envy, we are referring to a person who cannot do things, lacks competence, and is very primitive. Anyone who feels envy has a very primitive consciousness. Envy, hatred, anger, hurt, and resentment are on the same frequency, at the same chakra level. One can see that this person needs to evolve and become better because they wreck everything wherever they go. A person with a very primitive condition and a great deal of neediness can break things; they will destroy many things.
The person breaks things both through gestures and simply by being in the environment. Glasses begin to break; an electronic or electrical device, for example, malfunctions. The person took my computer and burned it out because they steal energy. This is a reality: the target of envy suffers because they lose energy. One important detail is that an envious person keeps very bad company because they have a procession of spirits at the same level. No one in a primitive condition walks around with little angels beside them; everyone walks with their equals. Therefore, if you are a lousy person, you will have lousy spirits beside you.
What kinds of places have the best energy, and which have the worst? The place with the best energy is usually the least frequented one. A cemetery, however, is not considered a place with bad energy; it does not have depleted energy, only corpses, not negative spirits. Do not worry: you can visit a cemetery without any problems. Sleeping on a grave, on the other hand, is an extremely lonely experience because you are unlikely to find spirits, and they do not want to remain in the cemetery.
Which places would have very dense energy? If you go to a psychiatric hospital, you will find very dense energy because the people there experience a very high level of suffering. If you go to a police station, you will also find an environment of great suffering. As a result, the energy is also depleted. But there are more places; there are countless ones. If you go to a nightclub on Friday, the energy is very dense. Although it is a huge party, with everyone drinking and smoking, the joy does not eliminate the presence of primitive spirits and consciousnesses that are there to steal energy. In fact, a place like that is compromised by unbalanced energy.
People like it; it is joyful. I know that, but anyone who stays in a place like that probably has no energetic perception or sensitivity. Perhaps some people have already had, for example, a headache the next day, pain at the back of the neck, or discomfort; various symptoms arise because the energy is dense. When you eat any food in a place like that, you also ingest the energy of the environment. Your chakras explode because they absorb the environmental energy, resulting in energetic impairment.
Every place where people go seeking help and are very needy is compromised by unbalanced energy; those places are oriented more toward asking than offering, and the people are primitive, tearful, and unhappy, leaving the environment compromised. The energy is not good because, besides the physical person there being in an unfavorable situation, all the spirits around them are also consciousnesses experiencing the desperation of emotional contradictions.
Which places have good energy? If you go, for example, to a place with a great deal of water, a waterfall, many trees, a farm, or country properties, those places have immanent energy. This energy is very subtle, not encoded by human thought and therefore pure. You will consequently benefit. That is why, when you say you are going to meditate, you should go to a park; you replenish yourself there. It is not necessary to meditate upon arriving at such a place: when you enter an environment with a great deal of vegetation, your crown chakra already increases its activity because it needs to process extremely subtle energy. As a result, by remaining seated and observing, you become fully vitalized, resolving the problem of energy depletion.
If it is a park crowded with people on a Sunday, the situation becomes complicated. In a place with few people, the environment is peaceful, there is a great deal of vegetation and water, and the immanent energy is much stronger. You should not go to a park full of garbage or unwanted objects. I prefer a mountain or a clean beach that is not crowded. We often believe that the place will recharge us even with many people there, but that is not a good idea. On a long holiday weekend, everyone goes to the same beach, drinks, talks, smokes, and engages in other activities, compromising the energetic quality of the environment.
Do types of food interfere with our spiritual energy? Meat, for example. I normally eat meat, but on occasions when I ate only vegetables, I felt much lighter. I would like to know whether that was only a physical sensation or whether there is a relationship between food and our energy. Your question is excellent. The type of food is connected to our energetic digestion. To simplify, I will consider seven major chakras—the ones that appear in illustrations and are related to the etheric double—present in all energetic bodies.
You have chakras in the etheric double, which are the ones shown in illustrations, sects, religions, and literature in general. But you also have chakras in the spiritual astral body, in the vehicle that connects the astral body to the mental body, and in the mental body. All this is a flow of energy. These energetic vortices are also related to the densities of food. If you say, "I eat meat because I like meat, a lot of fat," you are talking about the base chakra; that is, your consciousness is in the base chakra. You probably sleep ten to twelve hours a day because your level of consciousness is very dense. Perhaps you are materialistic, have great difficulty dealing with more creative things, or deal only with creative things that are very material—that is another story.
But if you eat vegetables, you will be working at the level of the higher chakras. You might question whether this has an advantage. What I can say is that the subtler your energy is, the better it circulates and the healthier you will be. There is a relationship, yes. When someone who usually eats meat begins consuming only vegetables, they feel much lighter. It is certainly a much healthier diet.
