Summary

In the Daily Assistential Task, energy exteriorization helps both the recipient and the donor, even without visible results. It takes faith in this benefit and the courage to recognize that we are love and validate our energies. Every action affects others: just as anger affects the environment, gestures of affection, love, and goodwill provide well-being and happiness that we cannot measure.

One question raised by those who take part in the Daily Assistential Task is the difficulty of perceiving concrete results, since they cannot see what is happening. Every day, we carry out the exteriorization of energy for people, on the schedule agreed upon at the CEC: from 9:00 to 11:00 p.m.

Many people take part in this work, including individuals in Brazil, the United States, Portugal, Italy, and other places around the world. It is an effort that I would like to see carried out globally, because when you apply your energies, you are helping others as much as yourself. We receive questions about whether the work being done is being put to use and whether it is having an effect. Have you ever seen God? Has anyone ever seen God? But you believe, do you not? And Christ? You believe even without having seen him. And what about yourself? Have you ever truly seen yourself?

The truth is that we never see ourselves completely, because we lack courage. When we truly see ourselves, we realize that we are love, and that resolves any question. Any action, however small, results in something. We need to have the courage to validate who we are, our energies, and our heart. It is essential to exteriorize energy to our fellow human beings with faith in the benefit that this will bring. Any attitude or movement affects the other person. If you feel anger, it will affect the environment. Why not believe that affection, love, and good will also have an impact? It is important to add up: every gesture of good will, affection, and love provides well-being and happiness to the other person—something we cannot measure. Love is immeasurable, so let us practice it.
