Summary
The chakras function according to our activities, and they all provide pleasure, from eating to working for humanitarian causes and making discoveries. Stress and emotional fluctuations indicate an imbalance in these centers. Relationships can involve a gain, loss, or balance of energy: feeling tired around someone signals a loss, while the energy another person gives us brings vitality without involving theft. The most intense exchanges occur below the heart chakra and are linked to astral projection. Recognizing these signals helps us maintain energetic and emotional balance and interact with people with greater tact and perceptiveness.

Chakras are not merely mystical concepts; they are active in our daily lives, although we often do not perceive them because of a lack of knowledge. Our level of spiritual evolution is directly connected to the chakras. People who are stressed, nervous, or experiencing emotional fluctuations display imbalances in these energy centers. On the other hand, calm people may be operating outside the realm of the emotional chakras. Understanding this is crucial because some health issues could be resolved with this knowledge. Upon waking, our consciousness is in the base chakra; as the day progresses, we move through different chakras depending on our activities and interactions.
Chakra activity varies according to our behavior and learning. Continuity in learning the chakra frequencies is essential to living better. All chakras provide pleasure, not only the base chakra. For example, the spleen chakra is activated when we eat something we enjoy, and the navel chakra, or solar plexus, is activated in competitive situations.
Working for human causes activates the heart chakra, providing great satisfaction. When Mahatma Gandhi freed India from British rule, he was beaten but kept speaking and experienced euphoria in the heart chakra. Similarly, artists who excel feel immense pleasure; and the higher chakras—the frontal and crown chakras—also provide pleasure when making discoveries or doing intellectual work. Chakras are fundamental to our relationships with ourselves and others. Learning about them maximizes our happiness and purpose on Earth. In interactions, we can gain, lose, or break even energetically. People who are out of balance can steal energy, even unconsciously, through negative emotional interactions.
Chakras are always active, and our relationships affect one another positively or negatively. It is important to be aware of this in order to maintain energetic and emotional balance. Energy depletion occurs when we feel very tired around someone. On the other hand, some people donate energy, radiating a good mood and vitality and making us feel happy and invigorated without us stealing that person's energy. And there are still others with whom the exchange is on the same level: there is no theft, nobody loses or gains, and the chakras work intensely.
The most intense energy exchanges occur below the heart chakra. This is directly related to astral projection because the people around us—including family members, who are nearby spiritual consciousnesses—can bring about situations in which, due to a lack of knowledge, we lose or gain energy. Understanding these energetic signs is crucial to our growth and happiness, making it possible to handle situations with greater tact and perception.
