Summary

Passion arises from internal neediness and appears as an instantaneous, instinctive, and blind reaction, linked mainly to the base chakra. It idealizes the partner and seeks to fill an emptiness, while love is built with time, living together, conversation, and individual space. In love, each person remains whole and can be happy alone or with someone, without dependence, submission, or domination. For cheating to occur, one must be in conflict with oneself and one's partner and experience dysfunctional spiritual harassment. Dissatisfaction does not justify cheating: one must examine why one cheats, engage in dialogue, and seek a better direction without trying to resolve emotional conflicts through fights or physical contact.

This is the fifth day of learning about healthy sexuality and spirituality. Today's topic interests many people: love, passion, and cheating. Most people want to understand better what love is, what passion is, and why cheating happens. First, let us talk about passion, which is where everything begins. Our neediness leads us to the need to fall in love. Especially when we are young and our discernment is limited, the neediness of the base chakra is intense. The person who shows up can meet that neediness, and we joke that we see an "alligator" as if he were Brad Pitt. This happens because our internal relationship is not resolved or organized.

Passion is a phenomenon that occurs mainly in the base chakra, but it also involves the spleen chakra and the navel chakra. It is an instinctive and blind reaction. Passion is instantaneous: you look at someone and feel that you already know that person from past lives, but that is only neediness. The first sexual contacts are wonderful, but differences soon arise that compromise the relationship. This is not love; it is instinctiveness and the need to fill an internal emptiness. The idea of finding the "other half" is mistaken.

Each person should be whole and find someone equally whole, someone settled and capable of genuine exchanges. Love, on the other hand, is a construction that demands time and living together. It is a relationship of much conversation and laughter, without emotional dependence. Dependence leads to passion and to an emotional lump. In love, each person has their own pursuits, their own space, and their own emotional time for dialogue. Internal organization is essential in order to listen and to be heard without defense mechanisms or a sense of invasion.

Love is not submission or domination, whether through force or through victimization. Such domination is an emotional and energetic game that should not be confused with true love. Love is looking into each other's eyes, accepting the other person's difficulties, and being happy alone or with someone. Happiness does not depend on the other person, but on each person's internal state. Love is when one continues another, helping and enlightening without criticizing or disqualifying. If you love someone but feel anger toward another person, you do not understand love. Love is an infinite space in the heart, and the heart is the temple of love.

About cheating: in order to cheat, the person has to be in conflict with themselves and with the other person, as well as suffering dysfunctional spiritual harassment. The solution is dialogue, not disqualification or fights. Couples at constant war try to resolve emotional conflicts through physical contact, but that is not a solution—it is a destructive cycle. Cheating is an unhappy path that sums up our difficulties and those of the partner. It is important to have clarity in order to walk a good path, where happiness is possible even in solitude. Life is a path, not a destination. The meaning of life is one, but it can be seen in various ways, and we should integrate it into our path. Do not expect to arrive at some specific place, because life is only a continuous path.

This path can be very happy. Instead of looking for answers to your difficulties, you can experience everything around you. For that, it is necessary to have some knowledge. Consider cheating a serious difficulty. First of all, talk with yourself: why am I cheating? It makes no sense. Do not think that this is normal, because it is not. We often come up with excuses, such as "everybody cheats." That is everyone's problem. It is important to know where you want to get to. If you want to be better and happier, know that there are people seeking balance, honesty, and sincerity.

We should seek that. The other person is very important. Do not think that someone who does not satisfy you should be cheated on. If someone does not satisfy you, learn what is happening and look for a better direction for your life. Take a stroll through the universe, even if only with your imagination, and you will see that it is much larger than the small things we manufacture on Earth.
